NBK Mobile Banking has now been updated to be more convenient for you. A safe and practical way to carry out all your banking needs, from up to five different enrolled devices! Whether it’s your mobile, tablet or smart watch, now you can manage your account and it’s easier than ever.

The latest update includes:

  • Ability to enrol the app on multiple devices
  • Increase your monthly transfer limit (upon your request KD 2,000, KD 5,000 or KD 10,000)
  • Transfer cash from your credit card to your account (cash advance)
  • iOS 10 and Android 7.0 Nougat compatibility

Note: To benefit from the new features in this update, customers who update their devices must update the NBK Mobile Banking application.

    *Tips to successfully make foreign currency transfers:

    As per the Central Bank regulations, you will need to enter the “Purpose of Transfer” after filling in the “Transfer Form” to successfully process your foreign currency transfer:

    - Select a “Purpose of Transfer” from the drop down menu
    - You will need to type in additional details in the second field, for example the invoice number, name of the charity for charitable donations, salary for the month of... etc.
    - If the reason for your transfer is not listed, please select “Other” and specify the purpose of your transfer
     
  • Increase your monthly transfer limit (upon your request KD 2,000, KD 5,000 or KD 10,000)
  • View the history of transactions made on your account
  • View the balance and transactions on your credit cards, loans, or deposits

Account Balance:

  • Smartwatch application allows the customers to view available balance of subscribed account in the form of a percentage indicator or exact figure of the subscribed account

Forein Exchange Rates:

  • Customers will be able to use the foreign exchange rate using different currencies

 

Security Tips

  • Passwords will not be saved. You will need to enter your password every time you login to access your account
  • Enrollment/Re-enrollment is through Online Banking to insure validity
  • New beneficiaries should be created through Online Banking in order to be displayed on the Mobile Banking application

Enrollment Steps

  • Login to Online Banking and select “Self Services” then “NBK Mobile Banking”, then “Download Application”
  • You will be asked to select your device (Blackberry, iPhone, iPad or iPad Touch, Android or BlackBerry) and confirm your registered mobile number on Online Banking. Please call the NBK Call Center at 1801801 to update your new number if it is not already updated
  • You will be receiving an SMS message with a link to download the app and complete the process
  • Once the app is downloaded on the device, the “registration code” will be displayed
  • Login to NBK Online Banking and select “Self-Services”, select “Mobile Banking”, then “Enrollment” from the top menu
  • Enter the registration code from the app on your mobile to Online Banking, accept the terms and conditions, then select “Submit”
  • The “Activation code" will be displayed. Enter your activation code and phone number from Online Banking to your device and tap “Enroll”
  • You will be asked to set your Mobile Banking password. The password should be 7 characters or more (this should be a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols) and should not been used before (Example nbk.123)

     * Important Note: BlackBerry users should select the “BIS” option at the “Select Access Point“ during the enrollment process.

To register additional devices: (Maximum of 5 devices)

  • Login to NBK Online Banking and select “Self-Services”
  • Select “Mobile Banking”
  • Select “Manage Devices”
  • Select “Add” to add a device
  • After registration, you can create a nickname for each device enrolled. For example iPhone Work, Galaxy Personal, iPad, etc.
  • You can delete devices by selecting the device and clicking on “Remove”
  • You can enable/disable devices
