NBK Executive Management to take part in Walkathon this Saturday
The countdown for NBK’s 18th Annual Walkathon has begun, with only two days left to register.
This week National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) Deputy Group CEO Issam J. Al Sager and NBK General Manager, Consumer Banking Group Mazin S. Al Nahedh were welcomed at the NBK Walkathon registration center in Salmiya as they prepared to take part in the March 24 event.
NBK Executive Management will be joined by public figures and government officials on the day of the Walkathon, which will take participants along the scenic coastal Gulf Road from the Scientific Center to the Green Island.
“The amazing and steady growth in the number of participants each year is evidence of the huge public recognition for this event,” Al Sager said. “NBK Walkathon is part of an all-inclusive drive initiated by the bank to build awareness in our community on the importance of leading a healthy life.”
Al Sager added “We are satisfied to note that the annual Walkathon, which constitutes a major component of NBK's corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, has over the years garnered huge success and support from the public. It is one of Kuwait’s favorite health, sports and entertainment-related activities.”
Registration for the Walkathon will continue until Friday, March 23 at NBK Registration Center next to the Scientific Centre from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm in addition to the NBK Branch at The Avenues. NBK will award the top 10 winners in each category and will conduct a draw for a grand prize for two brand new cars, a Mazda and Peugeot 2012 model.
